Tvindefossen, also known as Tvinnefossen or Trollafossen, is a stunning waterfall in the Voss Municipality of Vestland county, Norway. Located about 12 kilometers north of Vossevangen, this natural wonder is easily accessible via the European route E16 leading to Flåm. Standing at 116 meters high, Tvindefossen is formed by the cascading waters of the Kroelvi stream.

In the late 1990s, Tvindefossen gained an unusual reputation for its supposedly rejuvenating waters, believed to revive sexual potency. This story attracted up to 200,000 annual visitors from around the world, many of whom collected the waterfall’s water hoping to capture its alleged magical qualities. At its peak, Tvindefossen was Norway’s ninth most visited natural attraction, with up to 272,000 visitors in a single year.
